Residential Tax Abatement
An application for tax abatement will be considered for new construction and those projects that add substantial improvements to the property (increases of 20% or more in assessed valuation). The tax abatement schedule will be for five years as fallow:

100% of the first $75,000 on increased assessed valuation |

80% of the first $75,000 on increased assessed valuation |
| Year 3 |
60% of the first $75,000 on increased assessed valuation |
| Year 4 |
40% of the first $75,000 on increased assessed valuation |
| Year 5 |
20% of the first $75,000 on increased assessed valuation |
- Commercial and Industrial Tax Abatement

3 year 100% abatement or 10 year sliding scale abatement
