The Newell Municipal pool, originally built in 1956, has exceeded its lifetime. We want to build our community a new pool to enjoy many decades to come!
The City and Pool committee is excited to see what the future holds. Your volunteer Newell Pool Committee has been working diligently for months with Water’s Edge Aquatic Design. We asked the community what their wants are in a new pool and planted those in the design idea. A few of those include: diving board, zero entry, simplicity, and sunshades. We present this to you with a current price tag of $3,800,363. The estimated inflation is 3-5% annually, meaning the sooner the better!
